So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, good night

So so long 2010, it's been an interesting year to say the least. Our home life was turned upside down, of course by our own choosing, which we knew would be tough. And yes, it was. But we also had fun along the way. Here's a recap of the year:

Sold our vinings estates house quick (and without a realtor), temporarily downsized to a modest rental house (which makes us look like we are on an episode of Hoarders most of the time), Caroline turned 3 (sleeping beauty came for a visit), Walton unauthorized post prom party at our teardown (still dealing with the judicial aftermath), "motor-home" house torn down, P90X again, broke ground on our new house, made selections, New York City with Lands End Canvas, rental struck by lightning, new friends at ACC, Caroline pretty much potty trained herself, Jackson turned 6 (purple hippo treasure madness), a year for cool dates: 8.9.10 (Kyle & his mom's birthday) and 10.10.10 (Brooke's birthday), rental house floods, made selections, Brooke finally gets to PT & is running again, Caroline taps across the stage as a peachtree gymnastic rockin robin, Jackson starts kindergarten at a new school, first family trip to Walt Disney World, Caroline is a cool cat, Jackson learns to ride his bike, Kyle earns a new title at work (managing director), selections, white Christmas in Utah, Jackson learns to ski and a partridge in a pear tree.

Many amazing things happened. We have friends who experienced miracles this year. We are healthy, happy & hopeful. And truly grateful for all that has come our way.

Happy 2011! Can't wait to see what's in store.

Apparently the former owner son "hosted" the Walton hs post prom party at our house. Nice huh? It was huge. The cops came & arrested kids for DUI mainly. We were never asked if we wanted to press charges (we wouldn't have) but Kyle keeps getting supenonaed (I still can't spell) for the kids court dates.
